1. Training objectives

Cultivate senior students who can use modern mechanical manufacturing technology, computer technology, and electronic technology comprehensively, engage in design and manufacturing, scientific and technological development, applied research, operation management, and sales in the field of mechanical manufacturing. The training program for this major emphasizes the holistic development of ethics, intellect, physique, and aesthetics, with a strong emphasis on enhancing personal qualities, building a solid professional foundation, and improving business acumen.

2. Training Requirements

This field of study offers a comprehensive training program that integrates both general education and specialized education. It is required to take basic public courses in natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences according to the school regulations. At the same time, according to the professional training requirements, learning the basic theories of mechanical design and manufacturing, as well as the basic knowledge of electronic technology, computer technology, and information processing technology are coming with the program. The training encompasses various aspects such as advanced design technologies for mechanical and electrical products, manufacturing techniques, basic equipment maintenance skills, and production organization and management. It equips individuals with the ability to engage in research, design, and manufacturing, as well as operational management of fundamental elements such as molds, mechatronic systems, CNC processing equipment, robots, and more.

1. Requirements for moral education: Graduates of this major should love the motherland and the people, have the qualities of dedication, hard work, truth-seeking and pragmatism, unity and cooperation, and good professional ethics.

2. Business training requirements: The curriculum for this major includes training in the fundamentals of designing and developing mechatronic systems (products) using modern design and manufacturing theory, as well as computer-aided engineering technology. Upon graduation, students should possess knowledge and skills in the following domains:

(1) Have a firm grasp on the fundamentals of natural sciences, a sound understanding of humanities, arts and social sciences, and possess the proficiency to effectively utilize their native language and its characters.

(2) Systematically master the basic knowledge of broad technical theory in this professional fields, mainly including engineering mechanics, electrical and electronic technology, engineering materials, mechanical design, mechanical manufacturing foundation, automation foundation, and other basic knowledge.

(3) Possess basic skills such as computer graphics, calculation, experiment, literature search, and basic process operation necessary for this major.

(4) Must possess fundamental capabilities in electromechanical system design and manufacturing, technology development, and applied research.

(5) Understand the scientific frontiers and development trends of this major, and have strong self-learning ability and innovative consciousness.

3. Requirements for physical training: Good physical and mental health as well as some basic military knowledge and skills are required.

Mechanical design principles and methods (including body design principles and methods, mechanism motion and dynamic design principles, structure and strength design principles with methods, precision design principles with methods, modern design theories with methods), mechanical manufacturing engineering principles and technologies (including materials science foundation, mechanical manufacturing technology, modern manufacturing technology), transmission and control in mechanical systems (including mechatronics, control theory, transmission and control technology), computer application technology foundation, and computer-aided technology.
