Recently, the official media platform “Guangdong Education” under the Department of Education of Guangdong Province released a thematic series titled “Empowering High-Quality Development in the Greater Bay Area: Guangdong Universities in Action”. The series highlights how Guangdong universities are advancing intelligent manufacturing to support the province’s transformation from a major manufacturing province into a strong manufacturing province. The series reported on multiple research achievements from our faculty. Professor Gong Feng’s team has developed a range of high-efficiency and precision optical glass molding equipment and technologies. Meanwhile, Professor Tang Yong’s team has proposed key technologies for photothermal coupling design and packaging of micro-architectured semiconductor light-emitting devices. These achievements demonstrate the strong capability and commitment of our faculty in advancing frontier technologies and contributing to national strategies and high-quality industrial development.
