Recently, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province issued the “Notice on Conferring the 2024 Guangdong Science and Technology Awards”, announcing the list of winners of the 2024 Guangdong Science and Technology Awards.
Shenzhen University, as the first completion unit, won 11 Guangdong Science and Technology Awards, among which the College of Mechatronics and Control Engineering, one of the 6 award-winning faculties/colleges of the university, received 2 Second Prizes in the Guangdong Science and Technology Awards, accounting for 18.2% of the university’s total awards. The number of Second Prizes won by the college ties for first place with two other colleges (College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, College of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering). This marks the second consecutive year that the college has won 2 Guangdong Science and Technology Awards simultaneously, fully demonstrating the college’s solid foundation and continuous breakthroughs in scientific research and innovation.
